Last week of bloguing

I thought that it would be fitting to do a last post describing my NB 23 things experience. Firstly, thank you to the NB 23 things Team. I think that this was an exceptional opportunity for staff to learn at their pace all sorts of new things. In the past few weeks, i have catching up on things to do, like most people i know. But, even though everyone is busy, everyone is enjoying learning about apps, etc.

On a personal note, i was a little disappointed with the Blackberry App market, but regularly enjoy the Apple one via our iPad at home. Also, a little disappointed to not be able to load the BiblioNB App on my blackberry, but such is life. I enjoy it on an Android phone. The last 4 things were things i already knew fairly well, downloading books, playing with our NBPLS app, etc.

But let me reflect on these great questions from last week on a closing note:
  • What was your favourite Thing? I truly embraced Twitter and use it daily now. I had tried before but had not committed to it.
· What was the most useful Thing? I learned how to source stock photos and use them well.

· What were you surprised to discover? I was surprised to see everyone else's talent in blog making. I find myself struggling with finding my blog voice. Others did not. Bravo to them! It was enjoyable to read them regularly.

· How will you use the Things in your work or personal life? I will probably not use my blog, but will use all the other things as part of staying informed in life, at work and at home. During our blizzard yesterday, i read tweats from Culture-France and upcoming events in Paris. This made my snowday!

· How did you feel after completing the 23NB program? I feel like doing things is way different than talking about doing things. Experimenting and getting a little lost is the best way to learn on a personal level. I know more now and am grateful for this.

· What did you learn about yourself? I know that i am both an artistic creature and a linear thinker. In technological things, there is a way to be both. :)
